The Department of Social Issues and Educational Work of Atyrau Oil and Gas University named after Safi Utebayev (hereinafter referred to as the Department) is a structural subdivision of NJSC Atyrau Oil and Gas University named after Safi Utebayev (hereinafter referred to as the University), which implements the state youth policy within the powers granted to it.
The department was established with the aim of creating conditions for the formation of intellectual, professional and social competence, an active civic position of students, the upbringing of positive personal qualities of future engineers who are able to make a significant contribution to the development and strengthening of the country in the new socio-economic conditions of the country's development.
The Department carries out the planning and organization of educational work at the University in accordance with the approved educational work plan; coordinates the educational work of the departments; assists students in creating and organizing the activities of Student Councils of self-government at the level of the University, faculties, student hostel; supervises educational work with students.
The department supports and protects the rights of students. It is engaged in the development of the leadership and creative potential of students.
