Academic Department of the Atyrau University of Oil and Gas named after Safi Utebayev

The Academic Department is created in order to improve the efficiency of the educational process and serves as a base for the concentration of educational and methodological support for the educational process at the University. The main purpose of the department's activities is to provide training for specialists with higher education who meet state standards, labor market requirements and the needs for comprehensive personal development, based on maintaining a high level of organizational and educational work with effective use of resources. The Department also coordinates, organizes, plans and improves the effectiveness of the educational process in accordance with the academic policy and strategy of the University.

• Unification and standardization of the educational process based on state standards, implementation of Bologna Process principles.
• Development and updating of educational programs considering employer proposals, professional standards, and qualifications.
• Ensuring high-quality educational services using modern technologies.
• Monitoring the educational process, controlling results, and tracking students' academic achievements.
• Continuous improvement of educational programs and teaching methods.
