Office of commercialization of technologies

The Technology Commercialization Office is a division of the university that deals with the commercialization of the results of scientific and technical activities, the introduction and implementation of innovative technologies, the development of intellectual property and products (goods, works and services).

Tasks:

• search for and evaluation of technologies for commercialization;
• marketing research;
• providing methodological support to scientists in the field of technology commercialization;
• development of a strategy for the commercialization of technologies;
• conducting information activities in the field of popularization of the idea of technology commercialization at the university;
• organizing and monitoring the process of developing a justification for the concept of projects;
• support of innovative projects for their further commercialization;

An application for commercialization of the project on the topic: "Technology for the production of anti-corrosion additives based on local raw materials" has been developed and submitted to the Science Foundation. The development of the commercialization center of the Atyrau University of Oil and Gas is aimed at the advanced needs of the university's research team in promoting the results of scientific research in pilot or pilot industrial production. The current situation at the university has an extremely limited need for scientists to commercialize the results of scientific research, largely due to the low level of readiness of scientific projects for commercialization. Thus, the mission of the commercialization center for 2024 was to promote an increase in the level of readiness of current scientific research or student start-up research to enter commercialization and connect with the needs of the Atyrau region market and potential investors.
