Dual Education and Career Center
The Center for Dual Education and Career (hereinafter - the Center) is a part of the academic block of the University and reports to the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and International Cooperation.
The purpose of the Centre's:

🔹to organize and control dual training
TASKS AND FUNCTIONS OF THE CENTER:
Organization of dual training
🔹Formation of the base for dual education
🔹Counseling of students on dual training issues, including resume writing and preparation for interviews
🔹Placement of information on the Internet resource concerning the organization of dual training, promotion of employment of students and employment of graduates
🔹Assistance to trainees in preparation and execution of documents for dual training
🔹Sending information to the institution about the trainees on the acquisition of overalls and information about the trainees of the dual training system (address data)
🔹Development of the schedule of training process of trainees
🔹Organization of meetings with trainees - applicants for dual training
🔹Organization of training of trainees for obtaining safety clearance
Organization of professional practice
🔹Negotiating with professional practice bases, preparing letters on behalf of the University offering to organize professional practice.
🔹Conclusion of agreements with enterprises in order to form professional practice bases.
🔹Placement of information on the Internet resource concerning the organization and passage of professional practice
🔹Organization of professional practice, by preparing letters to the enterprises on the basis of presentation of faculties, i.e. to the bases of practice with indication of terms, name of professional practice, educational program, number of students, by name.
🔹Organization of the meeting of the heads of practice from the university and students with the specialist in HSE in online or offline format
🔹Monitoring of the internship by visiting internship sites or by phone call
🔹 Questionnaire survey of trainees regarding professional practice
🔹Questionnaire survey of internship supervisors from the enterprise to improve the organization of professional internships
🔹Collection of reports of faculties, heads of faculties on professional practice of trainees
🔹Ensuring timely reporting and documentation on the organization and conduct of professional practice
🔹Updating of agreements with the bases of professional practice;
🔹Development of regulations and procedures for organizing, conducting and managing professional practice
Employment of graduates
🔹Establishment and support of contacts with personnel services of akimats, companies, enterprises and employment center, as well as with NPP “Atameken”.
🔹Placement of information on the Internet resource of the University related to the promotion of employment of graduates
🔹Keeping statistics and making reports on employment of graduates on the basis of certificates from the place of work of the graduate, joint work with JSC “Financial Center” to ensure monitoring and control over compliance with the fulfillment of young specialists and doctors of philosophy (PhD) of their obligations to work and reimbursement of budget funds in case of non-working.
🔹Organizing and conducting on the territory and outside the University a set of events to promote employment of graduates: “Job Fairs”, “Career Days”, presentations of enterprises and their specialties, thematic exhibitions, seminars, conferences (etc.)
🔹Organizing and holding (together with faculties) meetings with potential employers
🔹Inviting specialists in the field of recruiting to conduct special trainings on “How to pass an interview”, “Where and how to look for a job”, “How to make a resume”, etc..;
🔹Collection of resumes of graduates for submission to potential employers who have expressed a desire to hire a graduate themselves
🔹Organizing and holding a meeting of a special commission for distribution and placement of graduates of the University.
🔹Filling the special electronic portal of JSC “Financial Center” supervised by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the graduates of the University
🔹Conducting questionnaires among final year students, graduates of the University, among employers.
🔹Timely correction and elimination of deficiencies identified independently or in the course of audits
