General Rules of Use


The library provides access to its resources for students, faculty, and university researchers. Books, newspapers, journals, and other documents are issued on a temporary basis.

  • All types of library services are provided free of charge.
  • Books can be borrowed through subscriptions. The last or only copy remains in the library.
  • Reader registration is carried out using a student ID.

Reading Room Rules


  • Taking books out of the reading room is prohibited.
  • If leaving for a long period, books must be returned to the duty librarian.
  • Dissertations and abstracts are issued only with written permission from the Vice-Rector for Research.

Reader Rights and Responsibilities


Readers have the right to:

  • Use library resources free of charge.
  • Receive consultations on finding and selecting information sources.
  • Use electronic catalogs and other digital library services.
  • Borrow books and other materials temporarily.

Readers are required to:

  • Handle books with care, do not make notes or tear out pages.
  • Report any book damage to the librarian immediately.
  • Replace lost books with equivalent editions.
  • Return borrowed literature on time.

Prohibited:


  • Entering the library in outerwear.
  • Removing books without registration.
  • Damaging library materials.

Users who violate the rules may be temporarily deprived of library access. In case of serious violations, information is forwarded to the deans' offices.
