The international agency QS Quacquarelli Symonds has published the results of the QS Asia University Rankings 2026, according to which the Safi Utebayev Atyrau University of Oil and Gas (UTEBAYEV UNIVERSITY) has been ranked among the best universities in Asia for the first time!

This achievement is the result of the university’s consistent efforts to improve the quality of education, strengthen its research potential, and expand international cooperation.

According to the QS Asia University Rankings 2026, Kazakhstan is represented by 44 universities out of 112, maintaining its leading position among the countries of Central Asia. This result highlights the dynamic development of the nation’s higher education system and its growing international recognition.

UTEBAYEV UNIVERSITY will continue to strengthen its position in the regional and global academic space, preparing a new generation of modern engineers and researchers.
