Delegation from China University of Petroleum (Beijing) Visits UTEBAYEV University

A delegation from China University of Petroleum (Beijing) paid a three-day visit to UTEBAYEV University. The delegation included Professors Feng Lianyong, Wang Jianliang, and Zhu Jinhong.

During the meetings, the parties discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation, implementing joint research projects, and establishing the Kazakhstan–China Center for Energy and Ecology based at UTEBAYEV University.

In the future, both sides plan to develop academic mobility programs in energy, geology, and oil and gas engineering, facilitate experience exchange among faculty and students, harmonize educational programs, and launch joint scientific initiatives.

Special attention was paid to the potential for cooperation in technology transfer, implementation of innovative solutions, and enhancement of education quality.

As part of the visit, the Chinese delegation toured the educational and production training ground of UTEBAYEV University, visited partner enterprises implementing dual education, delivered lectures to students, and shared their professional expertise. The delegation also participated in the international scientific and practical conference “Caspian Pulse – 2025”, where they presented reports on current issues in the oil and gas industry.

This visit marked an important step toward strengthening Utebaev University’s international cooperation and scientific integration. The university continues systematic work to improve the quality of education and science, as well as to train highly qualified specialists for the energy sector at both regional and global levels.
