We are deeply saddened by the passing of Baltabek Mukanovich Kuandykov, a prominent figure in Kazakhstan’s oil and gas industry, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, Honored Geologist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Non-Profit Joint Stock Company “Atyrau University of Oil and Gas named after Safi Utebayev.”

Baltabek Mukanovich devoted his life to exploring Kazakhstan’s mineral resources and developing the national oil and gas sector. He was not only an outstanding scientist but also a skilled leader who made a tremendous contribution to the advancement of geological science in our country.

He will be forever remembered for his significant support of the Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, his commitment to guiding young professionals, and his efforts in bridging science with industry.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. May he rest in peace, may his soul find eternal light and his memory live on.
