Another literary meeting was held at Utebayev University, organized by the Readers’ Club.

This time, the meeting was dedicated to Sanjar Kerimbay’s work “Қаныш және ғылыми майдан” (“Kanysh and the Scientific Front”). The conference took place ahead of Science Workers’ Day, with special guests invited from the public foundation “Otbasylik Khrestomatiya” — Janar Siden and Ertay Tursun — who engaged in an open discussion with students and faculty.

Active participation was shown by the university’s professors and students. Special attention was given to the scientific conclusions and archival materials presented in the historical work.

During the meeting, the content of the book, the events of the historical period, and the scientific legacy of Kanysh Satpayev were discussed. Participants shared their views and reflections on the topics raised.

“The work of the Readers’ Club at the university is not just about discussing books. It is part of our effort to revive national consciousness and educate youth in the spirit of deep understanding and historical memory. Moving forward, the club will continue discussing important works dedicated to the country’s history and the development of science,” noted Utebayev University Rector Gulzada Shakulikova.
