New Academic Program Launched at UTEBAYEV UNIVERSITY

UTEBAYEV UNIVERSITY (S. Utebayev Atyrau University of Oil and Gas), responding to labor market changes and the specific demands of industry, has launched a new academic program — 6B0710X “Materials Science and New Materials Technologies”.

This program focuses on training highly qualified specialists for the oil, gas, and chemical sectors. Students will study the structure and properties of new materials (including synthetic polymers and composites), their physical and chemical characteristics, production technologies, and optimization methods. They will also learn to design efficient and environmentally sustainable technologies.

The main goal of the program is to prepare experts capable of developing innovative and eco-friendly materials for industrial use. The program is built in close cooperation with regional enterprises and reflects their direct demands, providing students with opportunities to work on real industrial projects during their studies.

According to the Chairman of the Admission Committee Yesengeldi Arystanaliev, the program fully aligns with Kazakhstan’s strategic direction for industrial and innovative development.

To be eligible, applicants must score at least 50 points on the Unified National Test (UNT). The profile subjects are mathematics and physics. Applications are accepted daily, including weekends.
