AI-Sana — Technology Springboard

A strategic project for the implementation of artificial intelligence in Kazakhstan’s higher and scientific education system.
The goal is to prepare a new generation of specialists capable of creating and deploying AI solutions in energy, agriculture, water management, and digital governance.

What is AI-Sana

The project brings together universities, research centers, industry partners, and government bodies, forming a unified ecosystem of knowledge, research, and technological entrepreneurship. The platform offers learning programs, acceleration stages, research tracks, and opportunities for students, educators, and organizations.

"Domestic and international educational programs in the field of AI technologies can contribute to strengthening the human resource potential of our country. I instruct the Government to work out the phased implementation of the AI-Sana program for training specialists in artificial intelligence. The program should foster the creation of a dynamic ecosystem that combines education, research, and startup development. It is necessary to draw on the acceleration experience of leading global universities. We must convey to every citizen of Kazakhstan the benefits of artificial intelligence, explain why it is needed and how to use it properly."

AI HUB Artificial Intelligence Center

The Artificial Intelligence Center at the Faculty of Information Technologies was established by the decision of the Board of Directors of Safi Utebayev Atyrau University of Oil and Gas on April 30, 2025.

Its mission is to train a new generation of specialists, develop digital competencies, and support scientific research in AI. The center unites students, educators, and researchers for joint projects, knowledge sharing, and the integration of advanced technologies into education and science.
