Nurken Akhmetov Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor in Mineral Development, national expert in the field of accreditation. Teaching experience in the field of higher education - 23 years. He held the positions of the head of the departments "Organization of transportation and transport", "Oil and gas business", dean of the oil and gas faculty, head of the Dual Training and Career Center. Under the program "Advanced training for leaders of universities in Kazakhstan" attended courses at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (Japan), as well as courses for leaders of higher education at Nazarbayev University. He took part in the Week of the Erasmus + program with lectures for Polish students at the Jan Kamenski University in Leszno. He took part in foresight sessions of the republican project "Atlas of New Professions of the Republic of Kazakhstan". Passed an internship at the oil company "KazMunayGas - Drilling" for 4 months.
