Iskakov Rinat Maratovich Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor. In 1992 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Fine Chemical Technology named after M.V. Lomonosov with the award of the specialty engineer-chemist-technologist. From 1993 to 1994 he worked as an engineer at the chemical plant Akrikhin, Moscow. In 1998, he completed full-time postgraduate studies at the A. B. Bekturov Institute of Chemical Sciences and defended his Ph.D. From 2000 to 2002 doctoral student at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering in Tokyo (Japan) under the guidance of Professor Teruo Okano, from 2002 to 2003 post-doctoral fellow at the University of Texas (USA). In 2004 he defended his thesis for the title of Doctor of Chemical Sciences on the topic "New biomaterials based on alginates: synthesis, design, properties and biomedical applications." From 2004 to 2008 he worked as a leading researcher at the Institute of Chemical Sciences named after A.B. Bekturov, and also taught part-time at the Kazakh-British Technical University, later from 2008 to 2011 - Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the Kazakh-British Technical University. From 2011 to 2013, he was the director of the International Department of the Kazakh-British Technical University, supervised the creation of the Kazakh Maritime Academy. From 2013 to May 2016 - was the head of the Scientific and Educational Center for Chemical Engineering of the Kazakh-British Technical University. From January 2016 to April 2021, he was Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K. Satpayev. From April 2021 to the present, he is a professor at the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K. Satpayev. Completed projects (in chronological order) 2004-2007 - Project Executive Manager NATO SFP972813, for the development of self-healing coatings for space solar panels with Catalyse Sarl 2007-2009 - Project Executive Manager ISTC K-1117, for the development of metallized polymeric materials for space and flexible solar cells together with the Sukhumi Institute of Physics&Technology, Georgia 2007 - 2015 - Scientific Director of PolyAB Ltd for the implementation of the production of flexible polymer chips based on polyimide films 2009-2011 - Executive manager of the NATO SfP982813 project, for the creation of metal-polymer structural materials with surface metallic properties and light specific gravity together with Universite Montpellier 2 Sciences et Techniques 2010-2012 - Project Manager Kazakhstan Maritime Academy KBTU, including the development and modernization of technical training programs in the specialties of navigation of petrochemical tankers and mechanics of petrochemical tankers together with the university partner STC-Group ; work on consulting, creation and modernization of training 3D simulation centers for steering and propulsion control of oil tankers and transportation, including unloading / unloading, oil and chemical products together with the Kongsberg Group 2014-2016 - Head of the grant funding project P.055.101.2. containing polymeric materials with the potential of ionic conductivity of lithium cations". 2018-2020 - Project Manager PCF BR05236302 Scientific and technical substantiation of innovations in the chemical cluster in the field of creating new materials and technologies to improve the efficiency and environmental sustainability of industrial production
